COUGAR VOLLEYBALL HEADS TO DESERT FOR PAC-12 MATCHES
The Washington State University volleyball team (8-4 overall, 0-2 Pac-12) hits the road to take on Arizona State (4-7, 0-2) Friday, Sept. 23 in Tempe and Arizona (9-2, 1-1) Sunday afternoon, Sept. 25 in Tucson...RADIO COVERAGE NOTE: due to a Mariners game and a Pullman High football game Friday night, the WSU at ASU match will only be available on the internet...the Sunday match at Arizona can be heard on KHTR 104.3FM as well as on the Cougars All-Access subscription internet broadcast.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF
First year Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (8-4 at WSU, 120-28 career) is no stranger to Washington State volleyball...an outstanding student and athlete at WSU, Greeny was an All-Pac-10 player and member of three NCAA teams including the 1996 Elite Eight team...also an assistant coach for three more NCAA appearances including the 2002 Elite Eight team...had highly successful NAIA coaching career at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) with four-year record of 112-24 (.824)...assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

TUNE IN FOR COUGAR VOLLEYBALL ROAD MATCHES ON RADIO
Cougar volleyball fans can listen to all the road contests during the 2011 season LIVE in the Palouse on KQQQ-AM radio (1150 AM), or on Border 104 (KHTR 104.3 FM)...veteran area broadcaster Steve Grubbs is the voice of Cougar volleyball for the sixth season...these road matches are also available for listening on the internet by purchasing a subscription through Cougar All-Access on the wsucougars.com website.

COUGAR VOLLEYBALL ON TELEVISION
The Pac-12 Conference will once again have delayed broadcasts of conference volleyball matches on the FOX Sports Network throughout the 2011 season...WSU is scheduled to have one match nationally televised this season, the Oct. 21 match at Oregon...broadcast dates and times will be published at wsucougars.com when available... the Washington State volleyball team's Sept. 30 match against Oregon State will be televised live by Root Sports NW...to accommodate the television broadcast, the match has been moved to a start time of 7:30 p.m. in WSU's Bohler Gym.

COUGAR TEAM CAPTAINS
Senior Meagan Ganzer (Black Diamond, Wash.) and junior Rachel Todorovich (Walla Walla, Wash.) are the team captains for the 2011 Washington State volleyball team.
