COUGARS OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY
The Washington State University baseball team travels to Berkeley, Calif., to open its Pacific-10 Conference season...Cougars (9-7) play a three-game series (March 25-27) at Califronia (13-5)...game times are 2:30 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m., Saturday and 1 p.m., Sunday...second-straight week Washington State battles a nationally-ranked team on the road...Golden Bears are ranked in all four polls, including as high as No. 16 by Baseball America...Friday game will be televised by FOX Sports Net on a taped delayed basis...FSN Northwest will air the game at 7 p.m., Saturday...Steve Grubbs will provide the play-by-play online and on NewTalk 1150 AM/105.3 FM for all three games.
