PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University men's basketball's season opener against Eastern Washington, Friday, Nov. 9, will be broadcast live on television from Friel Court in various regions of the Northwest.
The No. 10/10 Cougars' opener against the Eagles will be shown to viewers in the Spokane area on KHQ live at approximately 6:30 p.m. The game's tip-time will vary, as it follows the WSU women's basketball season opener which begins at 4 p.m. All other viewers in Washington outside a 75-mile radius of Seattle (non-Sonics territories), as well as Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Montana can see the game live on FSN Northwest.
On top of that, the game will air live to all homes that have FCS, not including viewers in Spokane, and the entire game will be re-aired to the FSN Northwest region following the Sonics' postgame that night at approximately 10:30 p.m.
The Cougars will be on television a minimum of 19 times this season, marking a school record. The previous record of 18 television appearances was set in 2005-06.
