THIS WEEK
The Washington State women's golf team will open the month of April in Austin, Texas to compete in the Challenge at Onion Creek, hosted by Texas State...tournament will be held April 1-2 at Onion Creek Original Course.

THE COURSE
The course will play at par 70 and 5,821 yards for the tournament...first two rounds of the three-round tournament will be played Monday beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start...Tuesday's final round will start with a shotgun at 8 a.m.

THE FIELD
The teams joining host school No. 36 Texas State in the Challenge at Onion Creek will be No. 16 Texas Tech, No. 55 Gonzaga, No. 73 Washington State, No. 85 Iowa, No. 91 Kennesaw State, No. 93 Arkansas Little Rock, No. 95 Idaho, No. 100 Eastern Michigan, No. 158 Seattle, No. 183 IUPUI, No. 187 Stephen F. Austin, and No. 214 South Dakota State.

REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Representing the Cougar women in Texas will be junior Emma Betland, sophomore Rachel Lewis in the team competition.

RESULTS
Live scoring will be available during tournament play at golfstat.com. Results will also be posted online at wsucougars.com following each day of competition.
