Miami, Fla. - The Washington State women's golf team clawed their way out of cold to find the sun shinning brightly upon them as three Cougars found themselves in the top-25 after the first two rounds of the 28th Annual Pat Bradley Golf Championship, held at the par-73, 5957 yard Miccosukee Golf & Country Club, Feb. 21.

Leading the pack is All-American Anastasia Kostina who shot an opening round score of 70, the second lowest round of the tournament. Kostina's second round performance gave her a combined total of 150 (+4) knotting her in a tie for 11th, just two shots shy of the top-10. Freshman Amy Eneroth etched her way into the top-20, and sits in a three-way tie for 16th, two shots out of the top-10.

Despite it only being her second collegiate tournament, freshman Jessica Black is making an impact on the course. Black opened the tournament shooting a 73, marking her career low single round score, solidifying her a spot in the top-25. The Bend, Ore. native ended the first day with a combined total of 154 (+8) and sits in a seven-way tie for 22nd.

Tracy Broders is also clawing her way to the top of the 106-player field as she sits in a five-way tie for 29th, just one shot out of the top-25 and four shots out of the top-15. To round out the Cougar contingent, sophomore Brooke Henderson sits in a tie for 64th.

Also competing at the tournament as individuals are teammates Heather O'Leary and Ami Larson. After 36-holes of play, O'Leary sits in a tie for 51st, while Larson is knotted in a tie for 92nd.

The Cougars enter the final round in a tie for fifth place, just 10 shots out of the lead. The final 18 holes of the 28th Annual Pat Bradley Golf Championship will begin Wednesday, Feb. 22, with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. eastern time.
