Heather Molzen, a 6-foot-3 junior from Lakeside, Calif., played high school basketball for El Capitan. Molzen has started in all of the Cougars' 21 match-ups this season. Molzen is second on the team in rebounds (92) as well as total points (136).

What is the hardest thing about playing Division I basketball?

"Balancing school, living by yourself and basketball all in one is the hardest part. You have to go home, do your laundry and cook because you don't have your parents there for you anymore, so definitely living by yourself makes it difficult."

What is your favorite part of game day?

"I really like the pre-game meal because we all sit together, talk about the game, or anything else we want as a team, and then we have our own time after that to get focused. It's a good balance of both."

What is your major and what would be your dream job?

My major is speech and hearing science. My dream job would be to work back in California as a speech language pathologist in an elementary school with bilingual children."

What is your favorite moment of the 2007-08 season so far?

"Getting a new coaching staff has been a big change for us. I think it's been a positive change. There's been lots of good stuff to come out of it so far, so meeting June and her new staff has been a great thing this season."

Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals?

"No, I don't, but I always put lip gloss on for the game, no matter what."
