On Tap This Week: The Washington State University women's golf team opens its 2010-11 season at the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational, Sept. 13-14, in Worley, Idaho.

The 54-hole tournament will be held at the Circling Raven Golf Course, with 36 holes played Monday and 18 holes played Tuesday. Both days will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

"I'm excited to get our season underway," WSU Head Coach Kelli Kamimura said. "I'm looking forward to great things this week. The team has been working hard all offseason, and we're ready for the collegiate season."

The Course: Circling Raven will play at 6,106 yards and a par 72 for both days of competition.

The Field: The 20-team tournament field includes WSU, tournament-host Gonzaga, Boise State, Brigham Young, British Columbia, CS Northridge, Eastern Washington, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Portland, Portland State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, Southern Utah, UC Riverside and Weber State.

Representing WSU: Traveling for the Cougars will be redshirt senior Allison Travis, junior Kristen Allard, sophomores Emma Betland and Ellen Park and freshman Mallory Kent.

Results: Tournament results will be posted at after each day of competition.
