PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State University football single-game tickets for home games will go on sale Saturday, August 5, at 10 a.m., WSU Director of Ticket Sales, Dan Meyer, announced Thursday.
"This special on-line pre-sale opportunity will extend throughout the weekend at www.wsucougars.com," says Meyer. "Phone sales and in-person sales at the WSU Athletic Ticket Office, located at N. 225 Grand Ave., in downtown Pullman, will commence Monday, August 7, at 10 a.m."
Tickets for the November 18 Apple Cup are currently available to season ticket holders only. Should any Apple Cup tickets remain unsold, they will go on sale via the WSU Athletic website Saturday, October 7, at 10 a.m.
"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to provide our fans with this pre-sale opportunity via our improved internet sales channels," Meyer said. "We anticipate our customers will appreciate the ease with which they can purchase their tickets this weekend."
All tickets on sale via WSU's website will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, and patrons will be offered the best seats available to them at that time.
Single-game seats available in areas requiring a Priority Seating Donation will not be included in the on-line sale. Single-game seats in the premium areas of Martin Stadium will be available by phone or in person at the WSU Ticket Office starting Monday, at 10 a.m.
With a loaded six-game home schedule, Meyer feels the demand for tickets is expected to be strong.
"Season ticket sales are already third highest in school history, with over a month remaining before the home opener," says Meyer.
WSU kicks off the season at Martin Stadium against Idaho ($35), September 9. The Cougs then face the top three teams in the Pac-10 preseason media poll in successive home games: USC comes to town September 30 ($40), followed by an October 14 game against California ($35) and Oregon ($35) makes an October 21 appearance. Dad's Weekend features the Arizona Wildcats ($35) for a November 4 match before WSU concludes its season against Washington ($50) November 18.
To ensure the best possible seating, Cougar fans are reminded that season football tickets are $230 per seat, with great locations still available. Family plans for two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, are $480.
Tickets for the September 16 game versus Baylor at Seattle's Qwest Field are currently on sale. Ticket prices range from $7 to $50 and are available online at www.wsucougars.com, by phone at 1-800-GO-COUGS, or through all Ticketmaster outlets.
