WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington State juniors Victoria Harrod (Nepean, Ontario) and Katie Nyseth (Cheshire, Ore.) were named to the Pac-10 All-Academic team, Tuesday.

Harrod posted a 3.96 grade point average in human development and Nyseth earned a 3.86 GPA as a biological systems engineering major.

Both contributed on the court as well. Harrod started 13 games and averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. Nyseth started 27 of WSU's 28 games and tied for sixth in the Pac-10 with 3.86 assists per game.

Senior Alke Dietel (Halle, Germany) was named to the Second Team after posting a 3.58 GPA in humanities.

Dietel led the Cougars in scoring (13.6 ppg), fifth in the Pac-10 and rebounding (5.4 rpg), 15th in the conference. Dietel finished her career with 926 points, 13th all-time at WSU.

Junior Jessica Collins (Reno, Nev.) was named to Honorable Mention with a 3.70 GPA in business. Collins appeared in 26 games, including six starts for the Cougars.
