COUGARS BACK IN THE RANKINGS: Washington State is tied for No. 25 nationally with Central Florida this week in the Soccer Times poll...Cougars are receiving votes in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America national poll and are tied for third in the NSCAA Pacific Region rankings.

WSU PAC-10 RANKINGS: The Cougars are tied for the Pac-10 lead in shutouts with six...WSU is tied for second at 3.0 goals per match...junior goalkeeper Meghan Berlingo leads the Pac-10 in goals against average (0.41) and save percentage (.864) and shutouts (tied, four)...senior forward Kiersten Dallstream is tied for the lead in goals (10) and goals per match (1.11), third in points (22), points per match (2.44), seventh in shots per match (3.89) and eighth in shots (35)...sophomore midfielder Jacquelyn Roth is tied for second in assists (six) and third in assists per match (0.67)...freshman forward Brandi Vega is tied for third in game-winning goals (three) and tied for 10th in points (11) and goals (four)...senior midfielder Carly Dobratz is tied for 10th with four goals.

ABOUT PORTLAND: The Pilots are 9-1-0, including 4-0-0 at home...have defeated Pac-10 opponents Oregon and Washington on the road and California and Oregon State at home, all by shutout...Portland is ranked third nationally in the Soccer America poll, and fourth by Soccer Times and the NSCAA...ranked No. 1 by the NSCAA in the West Region...Michelle Enyeart and Sophie Schmidt each lead the teams with seven goals, five assists and 19 points.

SERIES WITH THE PILOTS: Portland has won all 11 meetings...six of the matches were played in Portland...teams met each year from 1990-96, and played in 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2006.

FOR THE RECORD: Seniors Kiersten Dallstream and Carly Dobratz continue to move up the Cougar career records lists...Dallstream ranks third in goals (27), third in points (65), third in multiple goal matches (six), third in game-tying/go-ahead goals (13), fourth in shots (164) and tied for fourth in game-winning goals (six)...Dobratz is third in game-winning goals (seven), tied for fourth in assists (14), fifth in shots (159), sixth in points (46), tied for sixth in multiple-goal matches (three) tied for sixth in game-tying/go-ahead goals (10) and seventh in goals (16).

ROTH ASSISTS: Sophomore midfielder Jacquelyn Roth has two assists in Washington State's 4-0 victory over Weber State, Sept. 25...has a team-leading six in 2009, tied for eighth on the Cougars' single-season list.
