PULLMAN, Wash. - Labor Day will be just that for the Washington State University women's swim team as it participates in the Snake River Challenge Monday, Sept. 1 at 11 a.m.
The event, which consists of a two mile swim followed by a two mile run, will begin at Granite Point and culminate at the WSU Boathouse.
The Snake River Challenge is a time-honored tradition for the Cougar swim team, and returns to WSU after a one year hiatus.
"We hope it will be a fun and challenging experience for the team," WSU Head Coach Erica Quam said. "We want to be able to get out and enjoy the area where we live and give the new swimmers a chance to experience it first hand."
The Cougars open their season at Gibb Pool with the Cougar Pentathlon Friday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m.
