KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. --- Tasha Browner torched the Oak Point Golf Course with a 72 and 73 on Tuesday to lead Washington State to a second place finish at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate.

Browner jumped 11 spots on the leader board in the second and third rounds to finish in a fifth-place tie with teammate Jennifer Dodd. The Cougar duo ended the tournament with an 11-over-par 227.

Sophomore Jackie Stevens played a major role in the Cougars third-round 300. The walk-on from Othello, Wash., fired a career-best 75 and finished in a tie for 14th.
