PULLMAN, Wash. - Junior Emma Betland continues to lead WSU, posting a one over 73 in the second round. Betland is now tied for seventh at 148 (+4) through two rounds. Betland's score is the fourth lowest round score by a Cougar in conference tournament history.

Washington State improved fifteen strokes in the second round, posting a 297 (+9). This is the second lowest team round by the Cougars in conference tournament history. WSU is tied for 9th place with No. 26 Washington at 609 (+33).

"The team looked strong today and posted a great round. I look forward to tomorrow," commented Head Coach Kelli Kamimura.

Freshman Kristen Rue and Senior Kristen Allard each posted a 74 (+2) in the second round. Rue improved four strokes and is tied for 29th at 152 (+8). Allard is tied for 34th at 153 (+9) after improving five strokes from the first round.

Sophomore Mallory Kent improved five strokes from the first round, shooting a 76 (+4). She is tied for 48th at 157 (+13). Freshman Lindsay Harmon is tied for 51st after two rounds with posting 81 (+9) in the second round.

No. 13 California is in the lead after two rounds with a 589 (+13). The Bears improved 23 strokes from Friday after posting a 283 (-5) in the second round. Cal is three strokes ahead of second place No. 12 Colorado, and five strokes ahead of third place No. 1 UCLA.

No. 42 Daniela Holmqvist and No. 6 Giulia Molinaro of Arizona State are tied for first at 145 (+1). Holmqvist posted a 68 (-4) in the second round to jump sixteen spots to first place. Tied for third are Colorado's Jennifer Coleman and UCLA's Erynne Lee at 146 (+2).

The final round will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday with a fixed start. Fifteen groups will go out from the first hole and ten groups from the tenth hole. Live stats will be available at
