WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington State redshirt-junior right-hander Chad Arnold and sophomore left-hander Adam Conley were named to the 2010 All-Pacific-10 Conference baseball team, Thursday.

Arnold, a native of Kennewick, Wash., is 5-3 this season and 13-6 over the last two years combined. His 43 career starts are seventh all-time at Washington State and his 181 career strikeouts are ninth all-time for the Cougars in the aluminum bat era. This season he has a 3.47 earned run average and will start Washington State NCAA Regional game, Friday against Kansas State in Fayetteville, Ark. Arnold was All-Pac-10 honorable mention in 2009.

Conley has been a closer all season for the Cougars and has started a game in each of the last four weeks. The Olympia, Wash., native is 5-3 with 11 saves and a team-leading 3.13 ERA in 27 appearances. His saves are second on the WSU single-season list and one shy of the school record. His appearances are tied for fourth on the Cougar single-season list. He has 12 career saves to rank third all-time at WSU in the aluminum bat era. This is the first all-conference accolade for Conley.

Seven Cougars received honorable mention. The WSU student-athletes honored were redshirt-junior second baseman Cody Bartlett, senior designated hitter Matt Fanelli, sophomore outfielder Derek Jones, junior outfielder Garry Kuykendall, junior left-handed pitcher Paris Shewey, junior shortstop Shea Vucinich and senior first baseman Michael Weber.
