Stanford, Calif. - The WSU Women's Golf Team sits in seventh place after one round at this year's competitive Stanford Intercollegiate. The Cougars recorded a first round score of 295 today. The Cougars and the rest of the field trail leader No. 12 Arizona who ended day one with a seven-under 277. Sitting in second-place is No. 1 Georgia with a score of 284.
Sophomore Amy Eneroth leads the Cougars and is in a tie for ninth place after shooting a one-under 70 today. Atop the leader board are Georgia's Whitney Wade and Arizona's Alison Walshe who are tied for first after both recording a 67.
The Cougars will return to action tomorrow in Round 2 of the Stanford Intercollegiate, with tee times beginning at 8:40 am. Complete results from Round 1 and live scoring throughout the tournament are available at golfstat.com.
