Women's Golf Climbs the Leaderboard in Day Two of Cuthbert Cup

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Washington State University women's golf team moved up three positions, Tuesday and sit in seventh place heading into the final day of competition at the Cuthbert Cup.

The Cougars finished day two with a total score of 608 at the par-72, 6,013-yard Cougar Point Golf Course as every member of the team either improved or equaled their first round score.

Junior Amy Eneroth led the women with a dominant 1-under par 71 and moved up to a tie for 17th. Eneroth's 71 also tied for the second lowest round of the day and gave her a two-day total of 150.

Junior Jessica Black moved up two positions and is tied for 26th with a total score of 152. Senior Brooke Henderson finished close behind her teammate to end the second round with a total of 153.

Sophomore Diana Hong carded a 75 and also improved on her first round score. Hong heads into the final day of play with a score of 154. Senior Tracy Broders rounds out the Cougar contingent with 156.

The women look to continue their run up the leaderboard as day three action returns to Osprey Point Golf Course and begins at 8:15 a.m., Tuesday.
