This Week: The Washington State University women's golf team continues its fall campaign Oct. 21-23, traveling to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete in the Mercedes-Benz Pac-12/SEC Challenge at Holston Hills Country Club. One round of 18 holes will be played each day. The first and second rounds will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the third round will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a shot-gun start. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
The Course: Holston Hills Country Club is a Par 72 course at a distance of 6,447 yards.
The Field (Golfweek Rankings): In addition to the Cougars, competing teams include Alabama (5), Arizona (21), Arizona State (9), Arkansas (40), Auburn (2), California (16), UCLA(1), Colorado (19), Florida (10), Georgia (13), Kentucky (26), LSU (3), Mississippi (33), Mississippi State (106), Oregon (14), Oregon State (55), South Carolina (25), Southern California (8), Stanford (42), Tennessee (28), Vanderbilt (7), and Washington (12).
First Round: Washington State will go out with the first group at 9:30 a.m. in the first round. With the Cougars are Mississippi State, Southern California, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, California, and the individual players.
Last Time Out: The women's golf team last played on Oct. 3-5 at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Sammamish, Wash. The Cougars placed 12th overall 968 (+104).
Next Up: Washington State will conclude its fall schedule at the Challenge at Onion Creek in Austin, Texas Nov. 7-8.
