PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State Men's Golf Coach Walt Williams announced the signing of Jordan Mason to a National Letter of Intent, Thursday.

Mason brings with him a No. 1 Canadian junior golfer ranking according to Junior Golf Scoreboard. Mason claimed six Top 10 finishes in tournaments this past spring and summer, including the title in the Greater Vancouver Junior Championship. He shot back-to-back rounds of 66 in the British Columbia Junior Championship en route to a 10th place finish. Mason also posted rounds of 68 and 69 to place fifth in the Canadian Junior Amateur. In the British Columbia Men's Amateur, Mason finished with a final round 69 to place tied for 19th.
"Jordan has played in all types of conditions and at many different courses," Williams said. "The experience he has in majors at both the U.S. and Canadian level will pay valuable dividends for him at the collegiate level."
