WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- - Washington State senior outfielder Zach McAngus has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Baseball Player of the Week and Stanford junior right-handed pitcher Greg Reynolds has been named Pitcher of the Week for Apr. 25 - May 1, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

McAngus, from Honolulu, Hawaii, led Washington State from the plate last week, batting a team-best .583 in four games. The senior went 7-for-12 with two doubles, a home run, two RBI and six runs scored, while slugging at 1.000 with an on-base percentage of .688. In Tuesday's 9-6 win at Gonzaga, McAngus went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. In Friday's opener vs. USC, he went 1-for-3, before going 3-for-4 on Saturday with a double, a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in Washington State's 13-7 win. McAngus finished the series by going 1-for-2 on Sunday, scoring a run to help the Cougars defeat the Trojans, 6-3. For the Conference series, he hit .556 (5-for-9) and added a stolen base.

Reynolds, from Pacific, Calif., earned the first complete game of his career and first by a Stanford pitcher this season, tossing a three-hitter in the Cardinal's 7-1 win over then-No. 16 Arizona State. Reynolds struck out eight and walked just one to earn his second straight win and improving his record to 4-3 overall. In 78.2 innings of work, Reynolds has a 3.66 ERA and has struck out 67 batters.

The Player of the Week honor is the first of McAngus' career, while it is the 59th such honor for Washington State. The Pitcher of the Week honor is also the first for Reynolds, and the 71st selection all-time for Stanford.
