GLENDALE, Calif. - Washington State men's golf is in tenth place after the first two rounds at the Pacific-10 Championships at Oakmont Country Club at Glendale, Calif.

Isaac Woods played consistently all day, finishing at 4-over for a tie for 17th. Dustin White is tied for 36th, followed by Ryan Camp at a tie for 39th, Ryan Ressa at 50th, Ben Bryson at a tie for 53rd, and Chad Carlson at 57th place to round out the Cougar contingent. Cameron MacKenzie of Oregon State leads all golfers after two rounds at 4-under.

WSU finished the morning round tied with Arizona State at seventh, and just five shots back of fourth place Arizona, before slipping in the afternoon round to tenth. UCLA has a seven stroke lead over Stanford for the team title with two rounds to play.

"We played okay in the first round and were only a few shots out of fifth place heading into the afternoon," said Head Coach Walt Williams. "In the second round we were a lot more inconsistent, but I feel that we can turn this around over the next couple of days."

The Cougars look to climb the leader board in round three tomorrow at the 2003 Pac-10 Championships Glendale, Calif.
