PULLMAN, Wash. -- In a tournament that featured three nationally-ranked teams, freshman Dustin White (Pueblo West, Colo.) and sophomore Jon Reehoorn (Burlington, Wash.) both placed in the top-15 individually. Their play helped Washington State to a solid fifth place finish at the Husky Invitational, played at Trophy Lake Golf and Casting in Port Orchard, Wash.

White (74-74-75---223) continued his surprising play, firing a third-round 75 and finishing 12th overall. Reehoorn (76-75-73---224) extended his streak of top-15 finishes to three by placing 13th. Making his collegiate debut, Cougar sophomore Matt McGeeney (San Pedro, Calif.) tied teammate Jeremy Taylor (West Richland, Wash.) for 21st on the leader board.

Stanford beat out a high-powered field to capture the team title. Oregon finished second, nine strokes off the pace. 16th ranked UCLA placed third and 14th ranked Washington was fourth. Washington State capped off the top-five.

Stanford's Alex Aragon (69-75-70---214) was the only player in the tournament to shoot under par, finishing two-under to win top individual honors. Oregon's Ryan Lavoie (74-70-72---216) played runner-up to Aragon, firing an even-par for 54-holes.
