PACIFIC COAST INTERCOLLEGIATE NEXT FOR MEN: The Washington State Men's Golf team will travel to Solvang, Calif. next week to compete in the Ogio-Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Aril 2-3. The 54-hole tournament will be played on the Alisal River Course with two rounds played Monday and the final round concluding Tuesday.

WSU ENTRANTS: Competing for WSU in the upcoming tournament at Solvang, Calif., will be Jordan Mason, Chris Collins, Nick Grigsby, Austin Hurt and Jordan Madison.

Jordan Mason RETURNS: Junior Jordan Mason, who has missed the last two tournaments after suffering a severe ankle sprain during the second round of the USC-hosted North Ranch Invitational March 6, is expected to compete this week at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate...he was jumping a small concrete ditch between the tee and an elevated green on the eighth hole when the injury occurred..."Mason played nine holes Monday and 18 Wednesday with no major pain," offered WSU Head Coach Walt Williams..."He might not be 100 percent, but he is a great player and will give it his call."

COLLINS NEARLY WINS INLAND CUP: Senior Chris Collins overcame his slow start at the Inland Cup by shooting a final round 65, the best round of the day...his final-day performance earned him an even-par 140, just one stroke off the co-medalists...Collins was the defending champion after winning the event in 2006.
