Washington State Quotes:
Head Coach Ken Bone
On the team's performance...
"I really, really liked the energy they came out with early in the game. I felt like for most of the 40 minutes we played really hard. At the beginning of the second half we didn't play with the same energy I felt like we needed to. That may have been our fault as a staff because we came out and played zone. Our guys tend to not play with the same tenacity when we do that. But hopefully we'll clean that up Saturday."

On holding onto the lead...
"There were a number of possessions where things were slipping away a bit, they'd hit a bucket but we came right back and were able to score, even when it got down to four, six points there at the end. We took care of the ball pretty well, we made most of our free throws, came up with some big offensive rebounds. Our guys really played a great game. I'm really, really impressed with the way we played tonight."

On DeAngelo Casto's play lately...
"It's not just a game tonight or last week against the Huskies or the week before. He's been doing this all through the Pac-10 season. I think he'll be All-Pac-10, but I wouldn't be shocked if he's First Team All-Pac-10. He's really done a great job."

On Faisal Aden's rebound and put-back toward the end of the game...
"That was a big play. Again just another hustle play be DeAngelo. He never quits, he's relentless out there and those plays help win games."

Junior Guard Klay Thompson
On attacking the basket...
"I try to do that every game. I thought I did a good job of that tonight. I missed some easy shots in the key, but that's going to happen. I made up for it by getting to the line and not forcing anything."

On playing a well-rounded game...
"I try and do that this year, just be a complete guard, not a one dimensional scorer. I thought I did a good job of that, just be versatile and play well in all aspects of my game. I think I did a good job not forcing it. When I'm patient and take good shots I don't think I turn it over as much."

Junior Forward DeAngelo Casto
On going up against talented big men...
"I just like to play hard. It's more fun to play against someone who's real good. When the competition is high and the stacks are high, those are just games you really want to play."
