Cougars Sit In Top 5 After 36 Holes At The Lady Vandal Invitational

MOSCOW, Idaho- Washington State women's golf team sits in fourth-place after completing the first two rounds of the Lady Vandal at the 72 par, 6,107 yard University of Idaho Golf Course, Sunday, Sept. 28.

Three Cougars are in the Top 25 at the end of 36 holes. Junior Jay-Lee Longbottom (77-75 - 152, +8) leads the team and sits in a five way tie for 6th after improving her score in the second round. Stephanie Parsley (76-77 - 153, +9) is tied for 11th and sits just one stroke out of the Top 10, while Junior Kim Welch (77-77 - 154, +10) is tied at 13th, two shots shy of the Top 10.

Heading into Monday's final round, Lindsey Bogden sits at 67th and Heather O'Leary is tied for 71st to round out the Cougar contingent.

Monday's final round tees off at 7:30 a.m.
