Four Cougar Rowers Earn All-Pacific-10 Academic Honors

PULLMAN, Wash.- The Washington State women's rowing team, ranked in the nation's top 20 during most of the 2000 season, received academic accolades Monday with four members selected to the Pacific-10 All-Academic team.

Seniors Lisa Phillips (Vancouver, Wash.) and Liz Snook (Colville, Wash.) join junior Sarah Allen (Seattle) and sophomore Emily Larson (Bothell, Wash.) as the Cougars who were honored.

To be eligible for the selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be a significant contributor to her team.

Larson (3.91, Undeclared), Phillips (3.89, Education), Snook (3.60, Human Resource Personnel) and Allen (3.57, Political Science) led WSU to a tie for fourth in the 2000 Pacific-10 Championships.
