AUSTIN, Texas-- Andree-Anne LeRoy rounded out competition for Washington State University at the third and final day of the 2002 NCAA Women's Swimming Championships with a 39th-place finish in the 200 backstroke Saturday.

LeRoy, a sophomore from Nanaimo, British Columbia, posted a time of 2:03.27 in the 200 backstroke, over three seconds behind her best time in the event, a school-record 1:59.64. Earlier in the competition, LeRoy had placed 40th in the 400 individual medley and 57th in the 200 individual medley.

Sophomore Rachel Dong recorded WSU's best finish at the 2002 NCAA's by grabbing 34th place in the 100 butterfly. The native of Paramount, Calif., also placed 38th in the 100 breaststroke.
