PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Amy Denson and Danielle Orsillo each scored 13 points Thursday night, sending 19th-ranked Arizona State to a 75-65 victory over Washington State.

Eight players scored at least six points for the Sun Devils (15-5, 6-4 Pac-10). Amanda DuRocher led Washington State (6-13, 0-10) with 16 points. Keisha Moore added 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots.

The Sun Devils had lost two straight and four of six after a 12-1 start. Arizona State has won three in a row against Washington State and 17 of the last 18 meetings.

The Cougars have lost 11 straight overall and 13 consecutive Pac-10 games.

Washington State, 5-77 in Pac-10 games the past five seasons, raced to a 11-2 lead.

The Sun Devils went ahead to stay when Orsillo sank her third 3-pointer in the first 9 minutes to push ASU ahead 22-21 in a fast-paced game.

Orsillo finished 4-for-11 from the field, including 3-for-6 on 3-pointers. Denson went 6-for-9 from the field and sank her only 3-point try.

Arizona State closed the first half with an 8-0 run to take a 39-27 lead. The Cougars narrowed ASU's lead to 43-38 on Crystal Blue's two free throws with 15:38 left, but the Sun Devils responded with nine straight points, capped by a 3-pointer by Reagan Pariseau with 12:40 to go.

Pariseau is one of three Arizona State starters who attended high school within 100 miles of Pullman.

Arizona State coach Charli Turner Thorne, 162-127 in 10 years at ASU, tied former Washington State coach Harold Rhodes for sixth on the Pac-10's career wins list.
