COUGARS FACE MAVERICKS AT HIGH NOON
The Washington State baseball teams opens its 2012 home slate with a four-game series against Nebraska Omaha...series takes place, Feb. 24-26 with a doubleheader, Friday and single games, Saturday and Sunday...first pitch scheduled for noon each day.

TEAMS AT A GLANCE
For the second-straight week, Washington State will meet a school on the baseball diamond it has not competed against before...Cougars are 211-189 under Donnie Marbut, who is in his eighth season as the head coach of the Washington State program and ninth overall in Pullman...Bob Herold is in his 13th year at Nebraska Omaha and has 409-career victories...Mavericks are in their first year of NCAA Division I play after previous stints in NAIA and NCAA Division II.

Tickets to home baseball games can be purchased by calling 1-800-GO-COUGS or by visiting wsucougars.com...also available at the WSU Athletic Ticket Office, located behind the east end zone of Martin Stadium, on the plaza just off Stadium Way, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m...prices are $6 (adults), $3 (ages 2-18 and 60+), $3 (students and students' guest, both free with sports pass) or $15 (family plan, two adults/two youth)...Friday's game against Nebraska Omaha is Faculty/Staff Frugal Friday ($2 tickets) and the family plan is available for $20 (includes four hot dogs and four sodas)...Sunday, admission is $2 for fans who show a ticket stub from Saturday's men's basketball game.

WASHINGTON STATE WEBCASTS
Beginning with March 20 against Gonzaga, all of Washington State's home games are scheduled to have a live webcast which can be viewed on www.wsucougars.com.
