COUGAR SPORTS THIS WEEK:
Beginning next week , you can listen to the "Cougar Sports This Week" hosted by Bud Nameck...WSU head coach Paul Graham will be on live from The Bookie on the Washington State campus from 6-7 p.m. every week through March 19...there will be three Wednesday broadcasts (Dec. 5 and 26, and Jan. 2)...all other shows take place Tuesday...the show can be heard over the Cougar Radio Network.

COUGARS ON TELEVISION:
Washington State is currently scheduled to make 11 appearances on television this season during its 27-game regular season, including five national, four regional and two local broadcasts...the Cougars will be on FOX Sports Net vs. UCLA (Dec. 22), vs. USC (Dec. 29), at UCLA (Jan. 6), at California (Jan. 19) and at Oregon State (Feb. 23)...FOX Sports Net Southwest will carry the game at Texas (Dec. 10) and FOX Sports Net Northwest will televise the games at Gonzaga (Dec. 15), vs. Oregon (Jan. 26) and at Washington (Feb. 27)...KUSK (Phoenix) will televise the Jan. 12 contest vs. Arizona State and KRON (San Francisco) will carry the Feb. 14 game vs. California).

SERIES WITH THE GRIZZLIES:
Washington State leads the series 75-27, including a 67-54 win in Pullman Dec. 12, 2000 last season...in that game a year ago, Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) scored 25 points and recorded a WSU freshman record six steals...the 25 points were the most by a Cougar freshman since Isaac Fontaine tallied 33, Nov. 27, 1993 against Michigan State.

COUGARS ROUT PRAIRIE VIEW A&M:
Junior Jerry McNair (Torrance, Calif.) scored a game-high 22 points to lead WSU to a 103-55 blowout of the Panthers, Nov. 24 in Pullman...the Cougars tied a team school record with 17 steals led by sophomore Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.), who registered seven thefts, one shy of the school record.

WSU DROPS OPENER TO COLORADO STATE:
Despite 17 points from junior Justin Lyman (Missouri City, Texas), WSU lost its season opener 79-75 to the Rams, Nov. 20 at the Spokane Arena...the loss broke a 13-game winning streak in home openers for the Cougars who last began a home season with a loss during the 1987-88 campaign when BYU knocked them off 60-54.

PRODUCTIVE BENCH:
Through two games, the Cougar bench has scored 34.2 percent of Washington State's points, led by senior Mike Bush's (Riverside, Calif.) 11.0 points per game average...in addition, the bench has 47.2 percent of the team rebounds.

SHARING THE WEALTH:
Currently five players are averaging double figure scoring led by junior Jerry McNair (Torrance, Calif.) with 18.5 points per contest.

MOORE IS BETTER:
Sophomore point guard Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) a 2001 Pacific-10 All-Freshman selection last season, currently leads the Cougars in assists (15), rebounds (13) and steals (11)...his 10.5 points per game is fifth on the team.
