EUGENE, Ore. - Two Cougars placed in the top 10 to lead the Washington State University women's golf team to a sixth place finish at the Duck Invitational, Tuesday.

The Cougars fired a three-round total of 926 at the challenging par-72, 6,052-yard Eugene Country Club. The tournament was hosted by the University of Oregon.

Junior Amy Eneroth held her second place position throughout each round of the tournament and fired a two-day total of 218 (+2). Eneroth tallied her 14th career top 10 and 23rd top 25 finish. Eneroth now needs one more top 25 finish to move into a tie for third on the career list.

Junior Jessica Black finished the tournament in a tie for sixth and only one stroke out of the top five. Black carded a total of 224 and earned her first top 10 finish of the season and the third of her career.

"Amy Eneroth played spectacular and Jessica Black had another great finish," Head Coach Walt Williams said. "They have both played well over the last two weeks and look to continue to play well into the remainder of the spring. The women are going to have to go to work a little this week and get some of their confidence back."

Senior Brooke Henderson ended with 242, sophomore Diana Hong shot a 247 and senior Tracy Broders finished close behind with 248 to round out the Cougar contingent. Sophomore Haley Parsons carded a 246, playing as an individual.
