PULLMAN, Wash.--The Washington State University women's volleyball program has set the dates for the 11th annual "Little Spikers" youth volleyball clinics.
The "Little Spikers" program is a series of one-hour volleyball participation clinics for boys and girls, ages 5 through 11, conducted by the WSU coaches and players at Bohler Gym. A fun atmosphere will be provided for learning the basics of volleyball while using special lightweight "training" balls.
The clinics dates and times are: Saturday, Sept. 24 from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1 from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Clinic participants will demonstrate their skills at the break between games of the Friday, Nov. 18, 7 p.m. WSU match against Oregon State.
A $25 registration fee covers the four clinics, a Little Spikers T-shirt, and free admission to five Cougar volleyball home matches. Walk-up registration is welcome for the first clinic, this Saturday, Sept. 24. For more information, call the Cougar Volleyball Office at 335-0277.
