TEMPE, Ariz. - Led by the three rounds of par or lower by Ryan Camp, the Washington State men's golf team finished at 15th at the Thunderbird Invite at the Par 72, 7,027 yard Karsten Golf Course at Tempe, Ariz.

Ryan Camp finished in a tie for 36th to lead the Cougars, and shot rounds of 70, 71, and 72 to finish at -3 for his lowest personal score of the season. Camp also tied for fourth best Par 4 scoring at -5 out of the 104 player field.

Dustin White finished the tournament at -2 and at a tie for 42nd, followed by Chad Carlson at a tie for 53rd at even par, Isaac Woods tied at 78th at 4-over, and Ryan Ressa tied at 92nd to round out the Cougar contingent. David Schultz of Arizona was the individual champion at 15-under.

The Cougars averaged their lowest team score per round at 286 and finished just six shots out of the top 10. The Cougars battled temperatures that ranged from the mid-90s the first day to the high 80s for today's last round and led all schools with 181 pars made. Arizona State was the team champion, finishing their own tourney at 40-under.

The Cougars will take the tees again April 19-20 at the U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford, Calif.
