STANFORD, Calif. --- Freshman Ryan Camp led Washington State with a two-round score of 149 on Saturday at the Stanford-hosted U.S. Intercollegiate.

The Cougars are in 17th out of 18 teams after posting a 603 in the first day of competition at the par 71 Stanford Golf Course. The event features eight of the top 50 teams in the nation.

Camp carded rounds of 74 and 75, finishing the day tied for 54th. Teammates Jon Reehoorn and Jeremy Taylor are one shot back and tied for 58th place in the 104-player field.

Arizona leads the tournament by five strokes heading into the final round on Sunday. The Wildcats fired an 11-under par 557. Oregon and Arizona State were the only other teams to play the course under par on Saturday, as the Ducks went six-under, and the Sun Devils four.

Chris Nallen of Arizona blazed through the Stanford Golf Course with a 69-66-135 to take a two-stroke lead over Oregon's Aaron Byers in the individual standings. Arizona State's Jeff Quinney, the 2000 U.S. Amateur Champion, is in third with a 138.

Play begins Sunday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
