THIS WEEK: Washington State takes on California and Stanford in the Bay Area...Cougars are in Berkeley Friday, Nov. 2 at 3:30 p.m. PDT and in Stanford Sunday, Nov. 4 at noon PST...note Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.

NATIONAL RANKINGS: The Cougars are ranked eighth in the West region and 27th nationally by Soccer Buzz...ranked seventh in the West region and receiving votes nationally by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America...receiving votes in the Soccer Times national poll.

STINGY DEFENSE: Washington State is 22-9-8 (.667) dating back to the last four matches of the 2005 season...during that span, Cougars have given up 28 goals (0.80 per match).

SCORE TO WIN: Beginning with conference play in 2006, the Cougars are 14-1-3 (.861) when they score at least one goal.

OVERTIME SESSIONS: The Cougars have played six overtimes matches this season (WSU 2-1-3)...in 1998 and 2000, Cougars played seven matches that went into overtime.
