EUGENE, Ore. -- - Jon Reehoorn (Burlington, Wash.) fired a final round 75 to finish tied for 31st as the Washington State Cougars finished tied for 14th at the Oregon Duck Invitational golf tournament Tuesday at Shadow Hills Country Club.

Reehoorn finished with a score of 222, which left him six strokes over par for the 54-hole tournament and 10 strokes behind the leaders. Oregon State's Anthony Arvidson and Lucas Horrobin from San Jose State both fired final round scores of 71 to finish tied for first place at 212.

Team honors went to the Washington Huskies with a score of 857. Oregon closed to within one stroke of Washington after a final round total of 287 that left them with 858 total strokes. Oregon State also closed strong and finished third after matching Oregon's last round of 287 to finish at 863.

A pair of Cougars, Jeremy Taylor (West Richland, Wash.) and Eric Toomey (Snohomish, Wash.), each finished with scores of 225 to tie for 42nd.

Toomey had the best closing round for the Cougars, a 73 that was just one stroke over par. Reehoorn's second round of 71Monday was the only sub-par round for the five WSU players.
