Weather Postpones WSU-Stanford Baseball

PULLMAN, Wash. - Adverse weather conditions Sunday forced Washington State and Stanford to postpone their Pacific-10 Conference baseball game to Monday at 11:00 a.m.

Monday's weather is forecast to be about 10 degrees warmer with little chance of rain. Sunday scattered snow showers and rain were forcast for the entire afternoon, with temperatures in the upper 30's. Fans who attend the Monday morning game will be treated to donuts and coffee at Bailey-Brayton Field.

The Cougars are 9-21 overall and 1-4 in league play. Aaron MacKenzie is expected to start on the mound for WSU.

Stanford, 20-10 verall, is 6-2 in Pacific-10 Conference action after capturing the first two games of the series from WSU Friday and Saturday. The Cardinal entered weekend play ranked fourth in the nation.
