TURNER'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Graduated from University High in 2002...as a SOPHOMORE and JUNIOR started at wide receiver and defensive back...was named All-Greater Spokane League first team at both positions...led the Titans to a share of the GSL title...during SENIOR season caught 28 passes for 330 yards and seven touchdowns...also had three interceptions on defense...team was 5-3 overall...in his final prep game caught seven passes for 79 yards...returned one interception for a touchdown and scored twice on kickoff returns...named to the Associated Press All-State 4-A first team as a defensive back...All-Greater Spokane League first team pick...the #14 prospect in the Northwest, according to Super Prep Magazine...Seattle Times Red Chip prospect...all-league first team defensive back...a "Northwest Nugget" honorable mention pick by the TNT.

FRESHMAN (2002-03): Redshirt season...earned defensive scout of the week honors leading up to USC game.

RS-FRESHMAN (2003-04): Games - 12...Starts - 0...earned the following weekly team awards: Assassin - New Mexico, Iron Man - New Mexico. Special Teams: Punts, Punt Returns, Kickoffs, KO returns...named to The Sporting News' Pac-10 All-Freshman team...picked off one pass against Idaho in the opener...against Notre Dame made his second interception in as many games...saw considerable action at Colorado and made three tackles, including one TFL...added two tackles to his totals against New Mexico, then made a career-high four tackles at Oregon...had solo stops at Stanford and against Oregon State, then two tackles against UCLA...missed WSU's Holiday Bowl win because of a fractured finger sustained in practice the week before the game.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Games - 11...Starts - 0...Special Teams: Kickoffs...saw some action as a backup cornerback and on special teams...two tackles in each of first two games and late in the year at ASU.

RS-JUNIOR (2005-06): V-Letter...Games - 10...Starts - 0...earned the following weekly team awards: Cougar Claw Defense - Oregon State... Special Teams: Punt, Punt Return, KO...backup corner to Wally Dada at right corner, with tackles in each of the first eight games...picked off one pass against Oregon State, the third of his career...best outing five stops against Grambling and then four tackles on the road at California and USC.
