TAYLOR'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Football coach Bill Culpepper...as a JUNIOR named to the all-league team as both a right end and linebacker...caught 20 passes for 420 yards and one score, while on defense he had 10 sacks and five forced fumbles...earned All-Mission League honors on offense and defense...prior to SENIOR prior (2001-02) raised eyebrows when he was named the most outstanding tight end at the Nike Camp in San Diego...caught 25 passes for 325 yards and four touchdowns...earned All-Mission League honors again...named the #103 prospect in California/Hawaii/Nevada by Super Prep Magazine...considered one of the top three tight ends in Southern California...received 3 of a possible 10 votes in the Best in the West poll by the Long Beach Press-Telegram...named to the Western 100 by the Tacoma News Tribune...played in CaliFlorida Bowl and was nominated to play in the Army All-American game.

TAYLOR'S WSU CAREER

FRESHMAN (2002-2003): Games - 1...Starts - 0...played in WSU's opener against Nevada, but broke a bone in his right hand...was listed as the number two TE after Adam West missed much of fall camp with an injury...medical redshirt.

RS-FRESHMAN (2003-04): V-Letter...Games - 11...Starts - 0...played in the first seven games on special teams and a few double-tight end plays...suffered pinched neck nerve against Stanford and missed the Oregon State and USC games before returning for the final three games, including the Holiday Bowl.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 11...Starts - 2...earned the following weekly team awards: Assassin - Idaho/Arizona. Special Teams: Kickoffs, KO Returns, FG/PAT Kicks...a special team regular who also saw some action in two-tight end sets...saw considerable action in the second half at Arizona after both Troy Bienemann and Cody Boyd were injured...started against Oregon and against USC...made first career reception against USC.

RS-JUNIOR (2005-06): V-Letter...Games - 7...Starts - 0. Special Teams: KO Returns, KO...caught one pass, a 12-yarder against Grambling...in addition to back-up tight end duty, saw considerable action on special team units...suffered a season-ending right shoulder injury against USC.
