CAREER: Ranks second on Cougar career list for saves with 19.

JUNIOR (2008): Appeared in 23 games, including six starts...registered 4-4 record with team-leading six saves...struck out 41 in 55 and one-third innings...saves tied for sixth on WSU single-season list...did not give up a run in first nine outings, including five-inning start at No. 15 Wichita State, March 12...pair of saves in doubleheader sweep at No. 25 Oklahoma, March 15...first WSU hurler to have two saves in a day since Reed Rainey, March 3, 1985...Pacific-10 Pitcher of the Week, March 18...took a no-hitter into the eighth inning and earned a win at No. 17 Stanford, March 28.

SOPHOMORE (2007): Made 25 appearances in relief...posted 3-3 record with 12 saves...saves set a Cougar single-season record...saves in five consecutive shutout outings, Feb. 25-March 16...Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week April 24 after earning a win (vs. No. 12 Arizona, April 22) and two saves (at Gonzaga, April 17 and vs. Arizona, April 21) in three appearances...Pac-10 honorable mention.

FRESHMAN (2006): Made 12 appearances, including two starts...won only decision in start at Gonzaga, May 16...save with four innings of one-run ball and five strikeouts at Northern Colorado, April 21.

HUMES'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned three varsity letters in baseball for coach Steve Murphy...was 6-3 with 2.93 ERA and 52 strikeouts as a junior...second-team all-league and first-team all-city...All-South Puget Sound League First Team pitcher after posting 5-3 record with 1.93 ERA during senior season.
