GENERAL: Coached by Todd McDougal, earning three varsity letters...captained the Bears as a senior. JUNIOR: Earned All-Narrows League honors as an outfielder...named team MVP...selected to the Pacific Northwest All-Star team and to the all-area team. SENIOR (2000-01): Honored with selection to the All-State team as well as a repeat pick to the all-league team...selected to play in the Washington/Oregon all-star series...team MVP for the second straight year...named to All-South Sound team and to the Tacoma News Tribune all-area team.

KOSTUROS' NEVADA-RENO CAREER

FRESHMAN (2001-02): Attended Nevada for the fall semester only...sat out the spring and worked, then transferred to Edmonds CC.

KOSTUROS' EDMONDS CC CAREER

RS-FRESHMAN (2002-03): Coached by Don Marbut, now a WSU assistant... a member of the NWAACC championship team that finished with the best record in the history of the league, 43-7...starting right field...hit .330 with six doubles, two home runs, 24 RBI and five stolen bases...all-league first team...during the summer played for the Aloha Knights and was named to All-Pacific International League first team after hitting six home runs and driving home 52 runs...coached by Greg Lumas.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2003-04): V-letter...Games - 39...Starts - 21...BA - .286...had a three-game hitting streak in late March against Washington twice and then Arizona (4-for-7)...went 3-for-4 and scored once in the third game against Sacramento State...went 2-for-3 against Oral Roberts and scored once...two hits in second Stanford game, scoring once and driving home two runs...also had two hits at UCLA...played in the first two California games at the end of the season and was 3-for-8...had two or more hits six times, including three hits against Sac State and two hits against Portland, Oral Roberts, Arizona, Stanford and UCLA...had two or more RBI in four games, including back-to-back games against Washington in early April...drove home two runs with a walk-off home run against Washington in Pullman, giving the Cougars a 2-1 series win in three non-conference games...had two home runs, both against Washington, including a walk-off hit in the final Pullman game against the Huskies...here's how he hit against Pac-10 opponents: Arizona dnp, ASU .200 (1-5), California .375 (3-8), OSU .200 (1-5), Stanford .500 (2-4), UCLA .333 (2-6), USC .000 (0-4) Washington .400 (4-10)...his monthly hitting averages: February .125 (2-16), March .308 (8-26), April .200 (4-20), May .414 (12-29).
