GENERAL: Earned two letters in baseball as well as two letters in football...captained both football and baseball teams as a senior...JUNIOR: played on both the junior varsity and varsity football and baseball teams...baseball team was ranked ninth nationally...won "best Hitter" award...SENIOR (2000-01): Named to first team All-Big Nine conference at second base...was selected to the Tri-City Herald All-Area Team as an infielder...was selected to the 2001 All-State Series.

FREEMAN'S COLUMBIA BASIN COLLEGE CAREER

FRESHMAN (2001-2002): Named to the NWAACC East first Team for his outfield performance...selected to the All-NWAACC Conference Team, as well as the All-NWAACC Tournament Team after hitting .400...chosen as Columbia Basin Athlete of the Month in April...played summer baseball with the Wenatchee Applesox baseball club in the Pacific International League...coached by Ed Kraggs...All-PIL pick and league's MVP choice.

SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Hit .344 with six doubles and two home runs...also drove home 26 runs...second leading hitter on the team...again played for the Wenatchee Applesox in the PIL and was a repeat pick to the all-league team.
