PULLMAN, Wash. – Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Ella Dederick was listed as the 10th-best collegiate goalkeeper in the country, according to TopDrawerSoccer.com. Dederick, a native of Camarillo, Calif., was one of four Pac-12 goalkeepers listed in the top 10.

Dederick is the youngest of the four Pac-12 players listed by the soccer news website, and also recorded the most saves during the 2015 season of the four goalkeepers. Last season, Dederick tallied 99 saves, the most in the conference and the most by a WSU goalkeeper since 2008.

Dederick earned NSCAA All-Pacific Region Third Team honors and All-Pac-12 Freshman Team honors for her efforts last season. She also picked up one Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week award and was named to the Freshman Best XI Second Team by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
