PLEASANTON, Calif. – The Washington State women's golf team remains tied for seventh with No. 12 Stanford and No. 13 Washington after the second round at the Pac-12 Championships, Tuesday, at Ruby Hills Golf Course.
After shooting 6-over par (294) in the second round, WSU (+5, 581) continues to lead No. 15 California (+8, 584) and Oregon State (+9, 585). No. 2 USC (-23, 553) leads the field, which features nine top-25 teams. No. 11 Arizona and No. 1 UCLA are tied for second at 10-under par (566).
Alivia Brown continues to compete with several nationally-ranked golfers. The sophomore is tied for 13th (-2, 142), seven strokes behind tournament-leader, Gabriella Then of USC (-9, 135). Brown trails the No. 1 golfer in the nation, UCLA's Bronte Law, by two strokes.
Junior Cherokee Kim is tied for 18th with five other golfers at 1-under par (143) after shooting a third-round 73 (+1). Senior Monica Huang moved 10 spots up the leaderboard in the second round, and is now tied for 29th (+2, 146).
Senior Nani Yanagi is tied for 51st (+8, 152), while sophomore Bree Wanderscheid is in 55th (+14, 158).
