During his latest podcast, conducted Thursday morning, Director of Athletics Bill Moos discusses this weekend's Cougar Athletics action. It's a unique weekend with all the teams - men's basketball, women's basketball, track and field, swimming and tennis - competing away from Pullman.
Although there is no competition by Cougar Athletic teams on the WSU campus, WSU Athletics is hosting the Special Olympics East Regional Basketball Tournament, Saturday. Moos looks ahead to the tournament and the community service initiatives of WSU student-athletes.
Moos also looks ahead to Saturday's Cougar Athletic Fund Night With Cougar Football event in Vancouver and looks back at the sold-out events in Spokane and Tri-Cities last week.
Baseball begins its season next week and Moos concludes the podcast discussing last Saturday's First Pitch Banquet inside the Rankich Club Room at the Martin Stadium Premium Seating Building (pictured below).
