PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University football has signed Jeffery Farrar to a Financial Aid Agreement, Head Coach Mike Leach announced Tuesday. Farrar is immediately eligible and will enroll in classes at WSU later this month.
Farrar is a 6-1, 195-pound safety out of Upland High School in Upland, Calif. He was named an All-Baseline League defensive back after posting 35 tackles and five interceptions, leading his team to the 2013 Baseline League title and a semifinal appearance in the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section playoffs.
Offensively, he lined up at receiver and caught 25 passes for 201 yards and capped his senior season by playing for the West team in the 2014 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, Calif. He was rated a four-star prospect by ESPN.com and a top 300 recruit during his senior year.
