Attended Milpitas High School in Milpitas, Calif.…as a JUNIOR, ran for 987 yards and six touchdowns…also named All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League – DeAnza Division Outstanding Defensive Back…as a SENIOR, earned All-Metro League (San Francisco Bay Area) Second Team honors, All-San Jose Mercury News First Team and Offensive MVP of the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League – DeAnza Division…rushed for 1,916 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging 8.8 yards-per-carry…also caught two touchdowns…helped MHS to 11-2 record and CIF Central Coast Section Title…rushed for 220 yards and three touchdowns along with one touchdown catch in title game…named 49ers High School Player of the Week after rushing for 147 yards and three touchdowns in win over Wilcox…finished career with 3,367 yards and 37 touchdowns…one of 11 running backs named to The News Tribune’s Western 100…rated four stars and the No. 32 running back prospect in the country by…rated three stars by and…ranked the No. 10 running back prospect in the West and No. 76 overall prospect in California by…born name is Bryant Canada…attended same high school as WSU running backs coach Jim Mastro.
