PULLMAN, Wash. – Six student-athletes each signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Washington State University beginning next fall, Cougar Head Coach Steve Nugent announced.

The signing class includes Jordan Branch (Sammamish, Wash.), Kelsee Crenshaw (Marysville, Wash.), Ella Dederick (Camarillo, Calif.), Simone Gunsolus (Kenmore, Wash.), Chelsea Harkins (Surrey, British Columbia) and Allie Lawrence (San Jose, Calif.).

“We are very excited to welcome these fine young women to the Cougar family,” Nugent said. “This group of student-athletes is a tremendous mix of talent, personality, and athleticism that we believe will make an immediate impact on our program. WSU's Women's Soccer has a storied academic and athletic history, and to continue that success we must introduce the most well-rounded student-athletes to our community that will make a positive impact in the classroom, on the field, and within the Pullman community.”

Nugent added, “Each one of these talented ladies brings unique athletic qualities to the team and we have high expectations for how this class will integrate with our current players and give us the best chance to be extremely competitive in the toughest conference in the country. Please join me in welcoming our newest WSU student-athletes to the family."

Jordan Branch

Midfielder - Sammamish, Wash. - Skyline High School

Jordan Branch earned three varsity letters for soccer under head coach Don Braman at Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash…2013 team captain…2013 All KingCo first team member…two-time all-league honorable mention (2011-12)… KingCo champions in 2011 and 2013…two-time state champions (2011-12)…three-time scholar athlete…named team MVP in 2013…2013 WSSCA All State first team member as a midfielder.

Kelsee Crenshaw

Forward - Marysville, Wash. - Marysville Getchell High School

Kelsee Crenshaw earned four varsity letters for soccer under head coach Wayne Nash at Marysville Getchell High School in Marysville, Wash…2013 team captain…2012 WesCo North first team member (2013)…all-conference second team member in 2011-12, and honorable mention in 2010…two-time team leading scorer (2012-13)…all-time leading scorer in school history…played for Crossfire Premiere in 2010-11…club team ranked 12th in the nation in 2011…played for Northwest Nationals in 2012-13.

Ella Dederick

Goalkeeper - Camarillo, Calif. - Newbury Park High School

Ella Dederick earned four varsity letters for soccer at Newbury Park High School in Camarillo, Calif., under head coach Trevor Tom…team captain for 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons…starting varsity goalkeeper for all four high school seasons…two-time team MVP (2011-12 and 2012-13)…named All Marmonte League Co-MVP in 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons…2011-12 All Ventura County first team member…played for Real So Cal club team (California)…won 2013 Summer Surf Cup championship…currently is the starting goalkeeper and team captain for the NPHS Panthers team that is 7-2-1.

Simone Gunsolus

Defender - Kenmore, Wash. - Inglemoor High School

Simone Gunsolus earned three varsity letters for soccer at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Wash., under head coach Amanda Potts…2013 team captain…All KingCo first team member in 2012 and 2013 seasons…team garnered the 2013 KingCo Academic Excellence award…played for Crossfire club team.

Chelsea Harkins

Forward - Surrey, British Columbia, Canada - Ecole Panorama Ridge Secondary

Chelsea Harkins played basketball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, and soccer in her time at Ecole Panorama Ridge Secondary in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada…member of the U-15 provincial team under head coach Don Sparks…member of the U-15 and U-16 national training centers…recipient of the golden boot at the U-15 Canadian National Championship…captain and leading scorer of U-16 Surrey United BCSPL club team…member of the U-16 provincial team, which placed fourth at the Canadian National Championships…played for the U-18 Women’s Whitecaps Elite Program under Jesse Symons…Whitecaps won the women’s premiere league, McAdams Cup, and the PCL championships (2012-13)…named MVP of the PCL final after scoring four goals…selected to British Columbia’s Canada Games team, which won the national championship at the Canada Games…invited to U-20 Women’s National Team Camp.

Allie Lawrence

Forward - San Jose, Calif. - Branham High School

Allie Lawrence earned four varsity letters for soccer at Branham High School in San Jose, Calif…all-league first team member for two consecutive seasons (2011-13)…team’s leading scorer for 2011-12 season…played for the Cal North ODP club team (California) from 2011-13…three-time captain of 95G Santa Clara Sporting Club team…Discovery Player for U-17 ECNL Eagles (2012-13).
