HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at two high schools…freshman through junior years at Mountain View High…one letter in football as a wide receiver for coach Adam Mathison…two letters in basketball as a wing for coach Nate Duchesne…three letters in track and field as a jumper and sprinter for coach Stephanie Smith…senior year competed at Camas High…on the basketball court for coach Skyler Gillispie, Camas advanced to second round of regionals sophomore and junior years…versatile athlete in track and field…at Mountain View HS frosh year named all-region…placed 12th in high jump at state 3A Championships…sophomore year was the state high jump leader for his class year with height of 6-6…won high jump and 200m dash at the Greater St. Helens League District meet…finished fifth in high jump at state 3A Championships…named all-state first team for high jump and all-region second team for 100m (11.24) and 200m (22.64)…junior year reached third place in high jump at state 3A Championships with repeat of PR height of 6-6…all-state first team in high jump…senior year competed in track for coach Alisa Wise at Camas HS…team captain…team MVP…was GSHL District champion in 100m (11.01), 4x400m relay and high jump (6-6)…at state 4A Championships was runner-up in high jump…all-state first team for high jump…all-region for 100m and 200m (22.48)…competed for Evergreen Storm Track Club and coaches Stephanie Smith and Scott Slamp…two-time All-American in high jump (2011 and 2012)…national qualifier in high jump and 4x100m relay…three-time USATF Region 13 high jump champion…finished third in decathlon (5645 points) at 2013 USATF Region 13 Championships…reached PR height of 2.04m/6-8 1/2 at Track City Classic (7/14/12, Eugene).
