The above picture shows Martin Stadium this morning. Imagine this scene Sept. 13 when the Cougars host Portland State in the 2014 Martin Stadium opener.
The 2014 schedule was released Wednesday by the Pac-12 Conference. In addition to the game vs. Portland State, the Cougars host Oregon, Sept. 20, California, Oct. 4 (Homecoming), Arizona, Oct. 25 (Dad's Weekend), and USC, Nov. 1.
And after two years of playing on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the Apple Cup returns to Saturday when the Cougars host Washington, Nov. 29.
Director of Athletics Bill Moos, who hinted at the schedule during Monday's Cougar Calls with Bill Moos show, discusses the 2014 schedule during his podcast, conducted Thursday morning.
Moos also discusses what Cougar fans can expect to see and experience at Martin Stadium during the 2014 season with the completed Football Operations Building.
"It will be a very impressive venue for major college football," said Moos. "I encourage our people to renew their season tickets; if you haven't had season tickets we want you here."
"We got something for everybody," added Moos. "We got a price range for everybody. We don't want anyone to be excluded in regards to having a chance to watch Cougar Football."
Season ticket information for the 2014 season is at the WSU Ticket Office website or by calling 1-800-GO-COUGS.
In addition to the football schedule and operations building, Moos talks men's and women's hoops, including women's basketball win against Washington at Beasley Coliseum, Tuesday.
