PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State track and field teams concluded the training and conditioning of the Fall semester with an intrasquad meet in the WSU Indoor Facility Dec. 6.
Head Coach Rick Sloan and his coaching staff of Debra Farwell, Mark Macdonald, Ellannee Richardson, Matt McGee and Tim Riley, divide the men’s and women’s teams into coed Crimson and Gray squads. This year the Crimson squad won the meet 75 to 68.
Some of the student-athletes with best performances at the intrasquad meet, as selected by the coaches, included:Sprints - Dominique Keel (sophomore)
Hurdles - CJ Allen (freshman); Garrett Gerling (junior); Shaquana Logan (senior)
Middle Distance - Jackson Haselnus (freshman)
Jumps - PJ Benedictus (junior); Zoë Moeller (redshirt sophomore)
Throws - Travis Pickett (sophomore)
Multi events - Dino Dodig (freshman)
The Cougars open the 2014 indoor track and field season Jan. 17-18, hosting the WSU Indoor Open I, at the Indoor Facility.
